Our Founder & Overseer

 

Dr. Goldia Demory Wright, Founder and Overseer of Love Alive Ministries (LAM) is a true ambassador for Christ. She is a soldier who has received orders from God, and stands straight and strong for Jesus. Taking her charge and call seriously, she presses forward in full surrender and submission to His Will.

Dr.  Wright speaks truth and offers wise counsel, and because of her love will step out of her comfort zone to pull others out of darkness, into the marvelous light. She is a pastor with a shepherd's heart, willing to leave the 99 to search for the one that may have gone astray. Overseer Wright is a worshipper whose adoration of her first love compels others to seek Him. She is a humble servant who is not afraid to use her strength to help where help is needed, she is giving , sharing and putting love into action. A teacher who leads by example, Dr. Wright exhorts and provokes others to a better and higher standard, a standard set by Christ.

Overseer Wright has earned a Bachelor of Theology (Virginia Seminary), a Master's of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry (Family Bible Ministries Institute, College, Seminary and School of Counseling).

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Overseer Wright discerns the cry and ministers the Word of God with power and demonstration. Keeping her focus on the Lord, she is not swayed by the crowd. She remains steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.  For this warrior of reconciliation, her labor is not in vain in the Lord.
